two tour buses had stopped while I was there. There are clean restrooms. The center closes at 5 p.m No overnight parking.
There is an information kiosk outside the gate for late visitors.
The L A water district has provided an orientation table ? that shows the Eastern Sierra area in relief.
There is also a labeled desert garden that many folks overlook.
