Cashion First Methodist Church is located at 204 S. Third Street. A stone plaque on the building indicates that the church was first organized in 1891, and had a former church building constructed in 1907. The current building was built in 1961.

Off the southwest corner of the building, this No. 28 Bell and yoke are mounted on four iron pipes with a low brick wall. A rope attached to the bell indicates that it is still used today on Sunday mornings. In front of the display, two granite markers are dedicated in memory of four young men from Cashion.
