The photo cutout in Colemans Flumerfelt Park depicts a father, mother, son and two daughter and the family dog, supposedly from the early part of the 20th century. They are dressed up maybe as they would on a Sunday. The Canadian Rocky mountains loom in the background, with a grassy meadow in the foreground and a track road leading off into the distance. Underground mine structures such as a tipple and associated buildings may be present in the background on the image, but have faded and have suffered from years of weathering and possibly from vandalism.
I imaging them to be a typical coal mining family that populated the area at that time, based on the proximity to the start of the Miners Path trail (visit link)
