Sandbanks estate Winery was established in 2001. Since that time, it has received numerous rewards for its products and its staff. There is on premise tasting, a boutique and shop as well.

2001: The farm is purchased by Sandbanks. Catherine Langlois plants 6 acres of Baco Noir, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Vidal Blanc, Geisenheim, and Marechal Foch.
2003: The first harvest of Baco Noir, Vidal, Cabernet Franc and Riesling produce a grand total of 150 cases, which is sold directly to local restaurants.
2004: Wine Boutique opening in the basement of the house located on the property.
2005: First Harvest Party with about 25 volunteers.
2007: Prince Edward County becomes a VQA designated wine area.
2008: Baco Noir and Dunes are available at the LCBO for the 1st time.
2010: New Boutique tasting room.
2012: VQA Excellence Award from the LCBO-hosted Elsie Awards.
Gazebo Bar built to expand tasting room and enjoy the beautiful vineyard setting.
2013: Ottawa Wine and Food Festival: Shiraz won Best of Show Red.
All Canadian Wine Championship: French Kiss Gold, Dunes Gold, Late Harvest Gold.
The annual harvest party is fully booked. A record 500 volunteers join to bring in the grapes.
2014: Award for Best Ontario Small/Medium Francophone Retailer.
New wine-making and storage facility is built.
2015: Quinte Business Achievement Award for Hospitality and Tourism.
All Canadian Wine Championship Awards: Baco Noir Reserve Double Gold, Rosé Gold.
Supplier of the Year Elsie Award as the LCBO Supplier of the Year for supporting business both with retail and licensee customers.
Boutique Expansion to provide more bar space and a brand new group tasting room.
2016: Ontario Wine Awards: Pinot Grigio won a Gold Medal.
2017: Owner Catherine Langlois was named Remarkable Woman of the Year.

2018: All Canadian Wine Championship Awards: Double Gold for Baco Reserve, Gold for Sleeping Giant, and Silver for Pinot Grigio, Shoreline White and Rosé.

Groups of 12 or more people can enjoy a private vineyard tour (weather permitting) where you will learn more about the wine that you taste. Reservations are required.

Depending on your needs you can sign up for Club Silver or Club Gold.
Club Gold – Receive 6 bottles of wine every 3 months ($109.75/ shipment).
Club Silver – Receive 4 bottles of wine every 3 months ($73.75/ shipment).
POLICY
Sandbanks Winery will charge your credit card on file at time of shipment in accordance with the wine club you have selected. Sandbanks will continue to ship your wine every 3 months until you notify them that you would like to cancel your membership by calling them at 613-399-1839. Cancellations must be done a minimum 2 weeks prior to shipment. Wine Club memberships can also be purchased for a gift 1 year basis (4 shipments). Sandbanks will charge the credit card on file at time of purchase for the full year membership (Gold- $439, Silver- $295).

Easy access, nice gazebo bar, colder boutique, commercial feel, not all grapes is grown onsite.

All logs must be the result of an actual visit to the winery, wine cooperative, or wine tasting center. Any logs posted otherwise will be deleted. After your tasting list the top 2 wines you liked and rate them on a scale of 1-5 (5 is great) and the price per bottle (see winery listing for an example).
