From the Church website, some of these beautiful Stained Glass Windows date back to as early as 1873 - Christ Church, Yankalilla.

Tho' there are a couple of windows that commemorate past members, dying in 1920 (George Roads), and a special tribute showing the 'Good Samaritan', for Sister Amy Dorrington, who not only served in World War One as a nurse, but lost her life when the vehicle she was in left the road, while traveling to aid a man who had been bitten by a snake, in 1934.

'Postcard' available from the Church, of three of the Stained Glass Windows.

A few of the Stained Glass Windows have been included on 'postcard' sized cards as shown, for sale to the visitor, with descriptions given. The 'left-hand' section is of the window with a commemorative scene for Sister Dorrington.
"Greater love hath no man than this. That a man
lay down his life for his friends. St John."

"In Loving Memory of
SISTER AMY DORRINGTON A-A-N-S. & D-T-N-S.
Who, on December 21st, 1934, accidentally lost her life
in the discharge of her duty.
This window is a gift of her friends."

The right-hand side of the card shows the window depicting a blue robed, haloed man, holding opened, illustrated scriptures, which has the following title:
"Luke
The Beloved Physician"

And the following inscription beneath it:
"AMDG | in Memory of Charles
William Morse Vicar of this
Parish for 55 years. Eucharistis Coujungimur"
['We are joined by the Eucharist' (Saint John Chrysostom)]

The middle section of the 'postcard' has an elliptic frame surrounding a white-clad being, with red sash ribboning, with Old English lettering, which says,

"Praise to the Holiest in the heights | and in the depth be praise"
And the following inscription at the bottom:
"To the glory of GOD
and in memory of
FRED MALCOLM GRAHAM
Born 1856 * Died 1911"

Unfortunately the description for the depicted window on the front of the 'postcard' is for a frame that is not shown, but one I did photograph, with a yellow cross at the top, with laurel wreath around a tablet with the following:

"I know that my Redeemer liveth"

[And then at the bottom.]
"To The Glory of God & In Loving Memory of
GEORGE ROADS Born 1834 Died 1920
Also SUSANNAH ROADS his wife. Born 1838 Died 1911"

Another beautiful Stained Glass Window frame has the 'title', "To the Glory of GOD", above a yellow-dressed maiden, holding flowers in the uplifted apron of her skirt. She is wearing a royal-blue shawl, and a white headdress. There is nice a coastal scen behind, and the following inscription beneath:

"and in memory of
John Woods Clayton
1846-1906
and his wife Elizabeth
1850-1932"
