Alphonse Veno was born on 20 July 1887 in New Brunswick, Canada. He was a private first class in World War I. In 1924 he married
Clara Emmerling (1900-1972) who was about 3 years younger than him. She passed away when Al was 85 years old. He continued on another 17 years, passing away on 19 April 1989, a couple of months short of 102 years old.
