The Connor Schoolhouse little free library #0689 is located in Connor Memorial Garden just off the square in Dahlonega, Ga. Dahlonega is a small town in north Georgia known for being in the center of the 1829 Georgia Gold Rush. So much gold was taken from this area that the U.S. Mint even built a branch here that produced the rare Dahlonega Gold Coin from 1838-1861. Today Dahlonega is full of shops, a gold museum, and many hotels and bed & breakfasts making Connor Memorial Garden a nice getaway spot to rest or for a quick read from the little schoolhouse free library.
Gave it a high rating due to there were many tourists in town, but was surprisingly quiet in the park. Only a few visitors showed up for the time we were there.
