According to Ancestry, Charles Cramp's full name is Johan Carl Charles Cramp. According to St. Paul's cemetery records on Find A Grave, Charles served at Newtown, PA, with Captain John Robinson in 1781. Charles' name appears (visit link) as a member of Captain Robinson's Militia. From that website "The following company of Berks County Militia was in service at Newtown, in Bucks County on October 1, 1781, but the length of time was not given, nor the particular service that was rendered. The men were from the southern section of the county."

Find A Grave also provides Charles' wife's name. She was Catharine Andrews, born in 1761 and died in 1816. She is buried next to Charles. Together they had three daughters, Anna, Mary and Sarah.
