The Wheatsheaf pub on Sneinton Road, Sneinton, Nottingham. A locals pub with pool table and darts in the front bar.
"Designed and built by Cecil Howitt & Partners for Home Brewery between 1964 and 1966. It was erected on the site of the New Inn, an earlier end-of-terrace pub, which had Vaults and a Smoke Room. The original Wheatsheaf had been on the corner of Carlton and Sneinton Roads and was rebuilt in the 1930s (Elain Harwood {Historic England} & C20 East Midlands). An Asset of Community Value nomination made by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA was rejected by Nottingham City Council on 22nd September 2016."
