In a nondescript warehouse at 2821 SW 27th in South Oklahoma City hides a Star Trek treasure - a "classic" Star Trek sound stage.
The producers of the second "Starship Exeter" fan film “The Tressaurian Intersection” constructed a meticulous 360-degree Bridge set that, after the production, had been rotting away in a barn near Austin, Texas. That set was transported to Oklahoma City and lovingly restored by a group of dedicated fans, who also added Sickbay and Transporter Room sets. These high-quality sets were used to film nearly a dozen Star Trek fan films, including "Starship Valiant," "Starship Grissom," "The Red Shirt Diaries," "Melbourne," "My Name Is Mudd,” "Starship Republic," and "Dreadnought Dominion."
Admission is free, and the studio is always in need of volunteers to maintain the sets. The sets are available for filming for a minimal fee. Contact the studio for details.
