Although I can't be absolutely certain, I'm pretty confident that this quonset hut is from the World War II era. The original windows have been painted over on the south and west sides and it has been remodeled to include three garage bays on the north side. This quonset hut is one of the larger ones I've come across and it provided a nice backdrop for photos.
This building is located on city property, so I'm assuming the city uses it for storing maintenance vehicles.
Additions: Three garage doors/bays added on the north side
Hut Type: Utility Building - "Elephant Hut"
Is the Quonset Hut currently in use?: Yes
Physical Address: 185 W 8th
Year of fabrication (if known): Not listed
