" Le calvaire Saint-Michel, de type croix bannière, est situé au cimetière de la commune de Questembert.
Sur une face du panneau est représentée la Crucifixion. Marie Madeleine porte un vase de parfums. Saint Jean tient un médaillon, avec l'agneau, symbole du Christ.
Sur l'autre face, deux anges se tiennent au-dessus de Notre-Dame de Pitié et deux autres sont agenouillés à ses pieds.
Le socle du monument porte une inscription fantaisiste évoquant une origine liée à la bataille de Questembert, remportée par Alain le Grand en 890. Le calvaire remonte plus certainement au XVIe siècle."

"The Calvary Saint-Michel, cross banner type, is located in the cemetery of the town of Questembert.
On one side of the panel is represented the Crucifixion. Mary Magdalene carries a vase of perfumes. Saint John holds a medallion, with the lamb, symbol of Christ.
On the other side, two angels stand above Our Lady of Mercy and two others are kneeling at her feet.
The base of the monument bears a fanciful inscription evoking an origin linked to the Battle of Questembert, won by Alain the Great in 890. The Calvary dates back more certainly to the 16th century. "
