Le moulin à marée du Birlot a été construit de 1633 et 1638.
Pendant l'ancien régime, il est la propriété du duc de Penthièvre, seigneur de l'île de Bréhat.
Ce moulin était un moulin banal (les habitants de l'ile sont obligés de moudre leur grain à ce moulin).
Il a continué à moudre le grain pour produire la farine jusqu'aux années 1920.
Racheté par la municipalité en 1990 il est restauré .

The tidal mill Birlot was built in 1633 and 1638.
During the ancien regime, it is the property of the duke of Penthièvre, lord of the island of Bréhat.
This mill was a common mill (the inhabitants of the island are forced to mill their grain at this mill).
He continued to grind grain to produce flour until the 1920s.
Acquired by the municipality in 1990 it is restored.
