Diese Transformatorenstation, die in einer Anschlagsäule untergebracht ist, stand früher in Augsburg. Der Transformator hat eine Leistung von 10 kVA und setzt die Spannung des Hochspannungsnetzes von 5000 V auf die Verbraucherspannung von 125 V herab.
Die Werbung stammt auch noch aus dieser Zeit: Knorr Hafermilch, Gewerbeausstellung 1896, Orientfahrt der Hamburg - Amerika Linie am 12.Februar 1898

Transformer station and cable laying, around 1900 This transformer station, which is housed in a advertising column, used to be in Augsburg. The transformer has a capacity of 10 kVA and reduces the voltage of the high voltage network from 5000 V to the consumer voltage of 125 V.
