Quite an impressive memorial/monument for a small East Texas town.
Featured are representations of the twin towers, backed by the American Flag, Statue of Liberty and a small Pentagon shape on the flag.
Between the two "towers" is a large rectangle of reddish brown steel.
At the base are the words:
September 11, 2001
All Gave Some, Some Gave All
Never Forget

Behind a large piece of metal
visible from the front

This 250-pound piece of Sacred Steel from Ground Zero
was bestowed by members of the FDNY on May 11, 2016
to the centerpiece of this monument.

It rest here and serves as the seal for a vault
below paying tribute and honor to the Fallen.

The vault holds department patches for our area
First Responders and 602 dog tags of our Texas
Military fallen heroes since 9-11.
