Approximately halfway between Lake Okeechobee and Fort Myers, Florida is the small City of LaBelle. The community has built a small dock area for boaters to moor for up to 3 days. Grocery and hardware stores are within walking distance along with an assortment of dining options. These docks provide boaters with the opportunity to secure provisions if needed before continuing to the Gulf of Mexico or to Lake Okeechobee. There are docks on both sides of the Highway 29 bridge that crosses the river. Shaded picnic tables are located east of the bridge in Barron Park.
