The Gloster Meteor F.8 EG-19 crashed on January 30, 1956, barely a few hundred
meters from the place where
Timmermans / Rolin-Hymans crashed (https://www.luchtvaartgeschiedenis.be/content/fairey-battle-t-58-te-s-herenelderen-gustave-timmermans-gustave-rolin-hymans).
It is a Gloster Meteor F8 squadroncode EG-19 VT-G from the 29th Sq /13th Wing Brustem
S/Lt Maurice Ancion born 22 september 1934 Malmedy got during his landing procedure instructionsfrom GCA controle (due to bad weather) instruction to maintain 2000 feet, but for unknown reasons he continoud to a downwards flight, hit the top of the trees and the top of a house
Olt. Maurice Ancion hit some trees and houses in very bad weather conditions before crashing at the football field. Bart Beckers found the simple bluestone stone between two football fields on the Eldersbroek, near the Hasselt-Tongeren railway. The neglected
