De Jeker (Frans: Geer; Waals: Djer)[1] is een rivier die in het Belgische Lens-Saint-Servais nabij Borgworm ontspringt, door een groot gedeelte van Haspengouw stroomt en bij de Nederlandse stad Maastricht in de Maas vloeit
De Maas (Frans: Meuse) is een 950 kilometer lange rivier in West-Europa. De Maas ontspringt in Frankrijk en stroomt daarna nog door België en Nederland. In Nederland is de Maas de zuidelijkste van de grote rivieren en mondt ze in de Nederlandse rivierdelta uit in de Noordzee.

The Jeker (Dutch: Jeker, French: Geer) is a river in Belgium and in the Netherlands. It is a left-bank tributary to the river Meuse. The source of the Jeker is near the village of Geer, in the Belgian province of Liège. The river is approximately 54 kilometres (34 mi) long, of which about 50 kilometres (31 mi) is in Belgium (provinces of Liège and Limburg) and 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) in the Netherlands (province of Limburg), where it flows into the river Meuse at Maastricht (Netherlands)
The Meuse (/mju?z/; French: la Meuse [møz]; Walloon: Moûze [mu?s]) or Maas (Dutch: Maas ['ma?s]; Limburgish: Maos or Maas) is a major European river, rising in France and flowing through Belgium and the Netherlands before draining into the North Sea from the Rhine–Meuse–Scheldt delta. It has a total length of 925 km (575 mi).
