Pendergrass Park is a small pocket park at 140 Quitman St, Pittsburg, TX. The City of Pittsburg describes the park as "a great place to take a break from sightseeing and shopping", and that's about right, although waymarkers will continue their sightseeing for a few things that are to be found here. There's no artwork, no statues, no playground, although part of the park is open space where the kids can play. There's a bench where one can take some time out and watch things happening along Quitman Street, the main drag through town. A small gazebo sees occasional use for community events, and there are several memorials and awards for community achievement. A plaque at the front of the park notes its benefactors, in memory of their parents:
