This waymark is for Atwood Lake in Atwood, Kansas.
You can drive around the lake. There is also a walkway that you can take around it.
Look for Geese and Ducks who sometimes stop by. (If you take the walk way, watch your step for what these birds leave behind.)
The lake has periods where it will be very dry. Other times it will be so full that it overflows across one of the walking/driving bridges. Please be aware of this when you visit.
I am placing this waymark to symbolize the Lost episode Through the Looking Glass. Like a mirror (looking glass), a lake is a good place to reflect. I am placing it today on a day that is a reflection of itself 8-15-18. 815 is a signifcant number in Lost mythology. This was the closest to a reflecting pool the area had to offer.
The best way to get here is to take Highway 25 to Lake Road. Just follow Lake Road around the lake and it will eventually take you back to Highway 25.
