The Confederation Trail is a multi-use recreational trail that goes from east tip to west tip of Prince Edward Island (or vice versa, of course). This trailhead is in St. Louis.
The main trail is a former railway right-of-way. It runs 273 km, but when side trails are included, there are 435 km of trail. It is rolled stone dust trail and has gentle gradients which never exceed 2% (up or down). In the winter, it is used by snowmobilers.
