The Confederation Trail is a multi-use recreational trail that goes from east tip to west tip of Prince Edward Island (or vice versa, of course). This trailhead is in St. Louis. Snowmobilers can enjoy it in the winter.

The Confederation Trail is a multi-use recreational trail that goes from east tip to west tip of Prince Edward Island (or vice versa, of course). This trailhead is in St. Louis.

The main trail is a former railway right-of-way. It runs 273 km, but when side trails are included, there are 435 km of trail. It is rolled stone dust trail and has gentle gradients which never exceed 2% (up or down). In the winter, it is used by snowmobilers.
