Long Description:
Planning for the 'Adelaide Australia Temple' was started in 1999, with the Groundbreaking ceremony on 29th May, 1999. It was Opened and Dedicated on 15th June, 2000. The first Temple President was Jouni Soininen, with his wife, Christina Soininen being the temple matron. In 2017 Robin Hill became the president of the Adelaide Australia Temple, with his wife, Lorelei Hill becoming the current temple matron. (visit link)

The building is almost 1,000 m², set on 2.8 hectares of land. The exterior of the building is of brilliant white granite, imported from Italy. It has two ordinance rooms, and two sealing rooms. It was designed by Simon Drew. [ex-Wikipedia: (visit link) ] There is a beautiful trumpet blowing statue surmounted on the peak of the Temple.
