The intersection of 10th and Main has a beautiful sculpture and fountain in a Roundabout. On the northwest corner of this intersection, this tender has two square iron posts, each with a finial at the top. Joining these two posts are two horizontal iron rods. Between them is an iron replica of a penny-farthing. We had never heard of that term either, but according to Wikipedia, this large-wheel bike was the first machine to be called a "bicycle". It was also called a High Wheel, or High Wheeler. Characterized with an extremely large front wheel, it was popular in the 1870's and 1880's.
