This ice cream parlor is within the grounds of the famous Shell Factory. The Shell Factory makes the claim of being the largest shell store and gift shop in the world. It is the oldest tourist attraction of its kind serving Southwest Florida and Lee County.
For 80 years, the Shell Factory (and now Nature Park & Fun Park) has been entertaining tourists and locals alike with a dizzying (and constantly changing) array of diversions and amusements reminiscent of Florida roadside attractions of yesteryear, which, by the way the Shell Factory was the first of its kind in Southwest Florida.
The ice cream parlor is located in the main gift shop area and serves hand dipped ice cream in cups or cones. They also serve speciality treats like sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes and floats. Since the Shell Factory is a dog friendly attraction they even serve ice cream cups for mans best friend. If sweets are not your preference they also have hand twisted soft pretzels, speciality pretzels and pretzel dogs with or without cheese and of course soft drinks. For fudge lovers there is also homemade fudge. Seating is available or you can take your treat and stroll the gift shop or park.
