This is a one-story randomly-laid native sandstone building, with a gable roof. A small entry gable on the north has a single door with sidelights, and a raised stone porch. A stone chimney is located on the east elevation. On the west side of the building is a wide shed-roof porch which appears to be used as the main entrance. This porch has wood support posts and a wood railing, and may have been added at a later date. An extension to the south is not original.
A sign in front reads "The Lodge" and the building is still used by the Girl Scouts. It is also the meeting place for the local group of Friends for their worship services. The building is located on the southeast corner of W. 12th Street and S. Duck Street. Although the building was funded by $970 in WPA funds, it was constructed by local residents.
