On the first monument you can read « I Have Seen Him in the Watch fires ..., and the second one ...of a Hundred Circling Camps». It comes from the original song The Battle Hymn of the Republic also known as Glory, Glory, Hallelujah !!

On the plaque on the left you can read names of soldiers who Died in the War and those who Served in the war. On the second plaque, you find the rest of the soldiers names who served the war.
