"After me and my family filled up on some beer and lunch items at their neighbor's brew haus, we decided the walk back to camp would be more bearable if we got some ice cream to enjoy on the road.

"This ice cream joint is located off the Katy Trail in Augusta, Missouri. The joint is inside a small bike shop which are part of the same company. I thought that was pretty cool. You know automatically they are a small business and just want to make people riding by comfortable and give them a place to stop and relax. There aren't any places to sit inside but there are some tables outside. There are plenty of chairs next door at the brew haus if you need some seating.

"The menu selection for the ice cream flavors was focused to about 8 flavors but interesting it was. I chose the lemon poppy. I didn't even know that flavor existed! It was delicious and tasted like I was biting into a lemon cake. I'm by a sweet tooth at all, I usually avoid sweets but I couldn't help myself with that flavor! You have an option to get a cone or a cup, which is standard but nothing out of left field. No bs.

"The service is what makes this place a must go to. The woman at the counter was bubbly and was willing to let us try any flavor we wanted. She was very nice and asked us about our day which I value a lot. She takes an interest in her customers and why they are in the trail that day. Let's do some math here, my family ordered: 2 single scoops and 2 double scoops and the total was about 10 dollars. She definitely only charged us for single scoops, whether it was on accident or not doesn't matter. I think she did it out of the kindness of her heart. The prices are reasonable as is.

"Overall this place blows everything out of the water. If you want a nice, small and delicious ice cream joint, look no further! I will be back this summer to try some other flavors. Thanks again." ~ James U., St. Charles MO
