"Yellow Farmhouse is a St. Louis area winery located on Highway 94 in St. Charles County. As local wineries near St. Louis go we’re found in the white clapboard lined town of Defiance at the entrance of Missouri’s wine country. Defiance hasn’t changed much since its early days as a railroad depot stop. Wine devotees, bicyclists of the Katy trail, and motorcycle enthusiasts are among its many visitors these days. "Wow, what a treat! If you are looking for something different Yellow Farmhouse is the place to go. I recently did a tasting there and I have never had wines quite like Yellow Farmhouse Wines. They had a port that tasted like bananas and a phenomenal unfiltered Chardonnay which was like no other Chardonnay.
The view is also excellent. You can look across a field at some beautiful hills while sipping the most incredibly unique wines you will ever have. Highly recommend." ~ Christopher M., Alameda, CA
