East of Unkel below Stux Rock is the Stux Waterfall directly on the L252.
It is the fall step of a former mill ditch, which is popularly known as the Hähnerbach or Bruchhauser Bach. The water falls about 7m deep from a natural volcanic rock face into a brick basin.
The Rheinsteig runs to the right and left of the waterfall. Therefore the waterfall is visited by many hikers. Some benches are available for visitors, but the location on the street does not invite for a longer break. There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity.
