This building was constructed in 1929 on a parcel that is 50 X 100 feet. Sometime after 1940 an addition was constructed that wraps around the original and can be seen as the smaller white section in the photographs. The building was purpose constructed as the paper's sales and editorial office and printing plant. It continued in that use until approximately 1951. It is in excellent condition. The change to the facade is the addition of stucco over portions of the brick, the relocation of the door and the blue paint. The current function is a training center to teach restaurant management skills.
