The disk simply states "Water Survey of Canada", with the additional markings SBM 76-1.

The actual hydrometric station is located a short distance to the south-east of the disk. The disk is used for a reference point in locating the WSC station.

The disk is located on the Northbound Highway 63 bridge over Poplar Creek. It is located just below the bridge, on the abutment, towards the south-east corner of the bridge.
