When the buildings of the Utica Steam Cotton Mills were repurposed to become Mill Square, now home to loft apartments and to offices of Brodock Press, the five-storey corner tower became a clock tower. On all four faces, there is now a clock, black Roman numerals on a white background. The clocks are lighted at night. These are relatively new clocks and they should be working. However, on my day for photography, they were not.
The Utica Steam Cotton Mills date back to 1848.
