Simple cement and stone cairn with a marker dedicated to those from the area's School Sections who served in the Second World War, and to honour those who died doing so.
There are secondary brass markers with "1914-1918" and "Korea 1950-1953" located on each side of the cairn.
The marker is located in a "Veterans Area" of Esplanade Park just east of the City complex.
