Sousoší se nachází ve strední cásti námestí T.G. Masaryka, uprostred kruhového záhonu krovin, ze dvou stran obklopené školními budovami. Autorem díla byl ceský akademický sochar Josef Klimeš ( 1928-2018 ), který vytvoril tuto dvojici mladých lidí jako malé bronzové sousoší pro Ceskoslovenský pavilon na Výstave EXPO 58 v Bruselu. Na této výstave získal ocenení za svou práci a pozdeji pretvoril sousoší do nynejší kamenné podoby a velikosti pro Mestský národní výbor Unhošt, který rozhodl o jeho instalaci pred školní budovy v roce 1960. Dílo v dobe budování socialismu bylo pojmenováno "Každý má právo na vzdelání", ale puvodní autorský zámer byl název "Zamilovaná dvojice".

The statue is located in the central part of T.G. Masaryk Square, in the middle of a circular bed of shrubs, surrounded by school buildings on two sides. The author of the work was the czech academic sculptor Josef Klimes (1928-2018) who created this couple of young people as a small bronze sculpture for the Czechoslovak pavilion at EXPO 58 in Brussels. At this exhibition he received awards for his work and later transformed the sculpture into the present stone form and size for the Unhošt City National Committee, which decided to install it in front of the school buildings in 1960. The work at the time of socialism was named "Everyone has the right to education" , but the original author's intention was the name "The Couple In Love".
