FR Derrière le domaine viticole de château-bas, à Vernègues, on peut voir un ancien temple romain du 1er siècle avant notre ère, une chapelle datée de 1054 ... et ce puits.
Deux niveau de pierre encadrent le trou. Deux montant, en pierre taillée supporte une courte poutre d'où devait pendre une chaîne ou une corde pour retenir le sceau.
Aujourd'hui, une plaque métallique protège le trou pour que rien, ni personne n'y tombe.
EN Behind the vineyard of castle-low, in Vernègues, one can see an ancient Roman temple of the 1st century BC, a chapel dated 1054 ... and this well.
Two stone level frame the hole. Two uprights of carved stone support a short beam from which a chain or rope should hang to hold the seal.
Today, a metal plate protects the hole so that nothing, or nobody falls there
