The Old Fire Station in Wymondham, retired in 1967, now acts as the entrance to a car park behind.

"This fire station, when first built, had to sets of doors with a smaller door between them. When motorised appliances arrived, however, the central door was removed to allow for two sets of wider doors to accommodate two Commer pumps, one with a trailer pump."

it housed the Volunteer Fire
Brigade until 1967.
