In 1903, First Methodist Episcopal Church was organized, and a building was completed in 1905. The current building was completed in 1925 and the church name was changed to St. Paul's.
In front of the current church is a brick pedestal containing the cornerstone from the original church, as well as a time capsule. The bronze plaque reads:
