This is a replica of the 1872 Courthouse. A fire in 1889 destroyed the original wood building.

This replica courthouse was built on its original site using specifications in commissioners court records, was dedicated in 1986. It was built by the San Patricio restoration society and dedicated on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1986.
