The clock is set in the median on 8th Street. It is landscaped with mulch and petit rose bushes. Definately an newer town clock, it's electric. The info plates are too clean to have been exposed to the Texas weather. It is black with a white face, topped with Texas City in gold. Roman Numerals (1 - 12) are represented on the face.
This clock is mostlikely a Verdin Small Two-Faced Post Clock (Street Clock). Mostlikely, because the Small model is 10.8' tall and 2.5' wide. As opposed to the Verdin Large Two-Faced Post Clock which is 15.7' tall and 3.8 wide. The manufactures ID plate shows it to be a "Verdin Street Clock 3R08".
