The old "depot" was previously in downtown Duluth on the north side of West Lawrenceville Street and was used as a train depot, as it was meant to be. The depot was donated to the City and relocated to the City Park named after former Mayor W.P. "Willie" Jones and was converted to a recreation center. It is currently being used as the Duluth Police South Precinct building. The depot has only changed in appearance by repainting and re-roofing, but with the same type clay shingles as previously on the building.
