[DE] Dieser Brunnen befindet sich direkt neben der Christuskirche in der Hohenzollernstraße 2a in 56068 Koblenz.
Erschaffen wurde er von dem Bildhauer Kurt Lehmann. Abgebildet ist hier ein kleines Kind mit einem Buch über dem Kopf. Das Buch soll als Schutz vor dem Wasser dienen, damit das Kind nicht völlig durchnässt ist.
Das Kind steht auf einem Sockel und das Wasser kommt aus zwei Düsen im Boden rechts und links des Kindes. Der Strahl ist so eingestellt, dass er genau auf dem Kopf des Kindes bzw. dem Buch aufkommt.
[EN] This fountain is located directly next to the Christuskirche in Hohenzollernstraße 2a in 56068 Koblenz.
It was created by the sculptor Kurt Lehmann. The picture shows a small child with a book over his head. The book is intended to protect the child from the water, so that the child is not completely soaked.
The child stands on a pedestal and the water comes from two jets in the floor to the left and right of the child. The beam is adjusted so that it comes up exactly on the head of the child or the book.
