Easily visible to all westbound travelers on I-84, the Easter Island Statue is popular a sight. The giant reproduction of an Easter Island Moai statue certainly draws your attention. The 40' replica Moai statue was related to the archaeology exhibit of the museum.
The Timexpo Museum was dedicated to the history of Timex Group dating back to the founding of the Waterbury Clock Company in 1854. The museum closed at the end of September, 2015 but the Moai statue remains in place.
