Erneut schauen wir auf die Nürburg, halten uns allerdings links abwärts an der Wintersportanlage vorbei.
An einer weiteren Thementafel biegen wir rechts ab und laufen eine Schleife mit schönen Fernsichten bis in die Ortsrandlage von Quiddelbach. Nun umrunden wir den Selberg, überqueren die B257 und gehen ein kurzes Stück an dieser entlang, bevor ein zur Zeit nicht erkennbarer Wiesenweg links hinab führt.
Es geht wieder durch den Wald, bis wir an der Quiddelbacher Höhe die B257 erneut überqueren und die erste und einzige Berührung mit dem Nürburgring selbst haben.
An der kommenden Gabelung halten wir uns links und gehen nunmehr erneut durch den Wald, bis wir letztlich die Randlage des Ortes Nürburg wieder erreichen."
