This fountain, which dates from 1614, has been restored since 1986 to its original position in recent years. It also turned into losing its triangular cross.
Today, only part of the pedestal has been preserved. Its originality is the presence of the lions because they were not a motif of frequent ornament.
It is located on the rue de l'Horloge, with a view on the Northern Limagne.
Located formerly at the entrance of the street of taules, it was a counterpart to the fountain of the Lignes (water tower located at the intersection of the streets of Commerce, Mozac and Marivaux).
When it was installed at the crossroads of the Rue de L'Horloge and the Rue de la Charité and the Hotel des Monnaies, it was reduced; The cross which surmounted it was taken to the cemetery.
