EN: The Claraschulhaus is located next to the Clarakirche in the town quarter Kleinbasel. The three-storey neoclassical building with the municipal coat of arms in the central gable was built in 1874. The architect was Ludwig Calame. The school was originally a primary and secondary school for girls and is now a bridging education school.
DE: Das Claraschulhaus befindet sich neben der Clarakirche im Quartier Kleinbasel. Das dreistöckige klassizistische Gebäude mit dem Stadtwappen im Mittelgiebel wurde 1874 erbaut. Der Architekt war Ludwig Calame. Die Schule war ursprünglich eine Primar- und Sekundarschule für Mädchen und ist heute eine Schule für Brückenangebote.
