[DE] Die Brotfabrik Knäpper hatte ihren Sitz in der Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 171 in Wuppertal, in der sich heute ein Autohändler befindet. Neben allen gängigen Brotsorten war die Brotfabrik vor allem für ihr Schwarzbrot bekannt.
Betrieben wurde die Brotfabrik Knäpper in der Rechtsform einer Kommanditgesellschaft. Die Eintragung im Handelsregister (HRA 8265 Wuppertal) erfolgte am 12. Oktober 1911 und gelöscht wurde die Firma am 26. Mai 1978.
Angebracht ist die alte Werbung für die Brotfabrik auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes direkt an der Wupper. Als Fahrgast der Schwebebahn hat man einen guten Ausblick auf das Relikt aus früheren Zeiten.
