Semore Park is located on the northwest corner of W. Cherokee Street and N. Main. The small area has walking paths and several items of historical interest. The park is the site of the town's annual Christmas tree lighting, and the farmer's market in summer.
Two large murals show a locomotive and the old Wagoner railroad depot, and the former City Hall and Fire Department. Alongside the murals is a fountain.
Other items are a wood gazebo, a sculpture of a bulldog, the high school mascot, and a wooden locomotive for children to climb on.
The park is named for Margie and Jack Semore. A red granite marker reads:
Honoring Margie Semore and the late Jack Semore.
Margie was Salutatorian of the Wagoner High School Class of '38 and began her career with Wagoner County Abstract, eventually becoming the owner. Jack was a S/Sgt., in the 142nd Engineer Combat Battalion, Rainbow Division & served in World War II. He raised registered Hereford cattle & worked for the MK&T Railroad & Ed Wright Water Co. The Semores were married March 3, 1940
