Der Lions Club Neuwied-Andernach
Lions International ist eine der weltweit größten aktiven wohltätigen Service-Organisationen mit rund 1,3 Millionen Mitgliedern in 200 Ländern, die ca. 45.000 Clubs umfasst. Davon sind in Deutschland rund 46.000 Mitglieder in knapp 1.400 Clubs organisiert. Der Lions Club Neuwied-Andernach unterstützt seit mehr als fünf Jahrzehnten soziale und kulturelle Projekte überwiegend in der Region. Die Lions verpflichten sich zur Toleranz im Zusammenleben und wollen Mitmenschen in materieller und seelischer Not helfen. Lions dienen der Gemeinschaft (unser Motto: „We serve“) und helfen, die Beziehungen zwischen den Völkern zu entwickeln und dadurch den Weltfrieden zu fördern sowie die Kulturgüter sinnvoll zu bewahren.
Die Lions Hilfe Neuwied-Andernach e.V. dankt den Spendern für die Bereitstellung der Gewinne und zahlreichen Unternehmen für die freundliche Unterstützung.
Der Lions Club Neuwied-Andernach hat zur Zeit 45 Mitglieder. Durch Sammel-Aktionen und eigene Spenden konnten in den vergangenen Jahren mehr als 125 000 Euro allein in der Region Neuwied-Andernach sinnvoll für Kinder- und Jugendprojekte angelegt werden. Unter anderem wurde die Aktion Wunschbaum unterstützt, konnten Geräte für die Landesblindenschule angeschafft und Musikinstrumente für die Förderung sprachbehinderter Kinder bereitgestellt werden. Auch jede direkte Spende ist herzlich willkommen! Diese kann auf das Konto der Lions Hilfe e.V. überwiesen werden.

The Lions Club Neuwied-Andernach currently has 45 members. Collective campaigns and donations have enabled more than 125,000 euros to be spent on children and youth projects in the Neuwied-Andernach region alone in recent years. Among other things, the action Wunschbaum was supported, equipment for the National School for the Blind were purchased and musical instruments for the promotion of language-impaired children are provided. Every direct donation is also welcome! This can be transferred to the account of Lions Hilfe e.V.
