The decorative brick and tile work is located on the property that was originally built for the Potteries Central Savings Bank, but in 1899 became offices for the Potteries Water Board Company. It is a Grade II listed building.

Staffordshire Potteries Water Board Company moved into their purpose built property on Albion Street in 1858. The expansion of the company's operation in the second half of the nineteenth century triggered the extension of its premises into the bank building. (visit link)
The premises have been used as a pub and more recently as a wine bar and restaurant, but the building is currently up for rent.
