An der Kreuzung von zwei Forstwegen mitten im Wald Kottenforst-Ville wurden mehrere Marker installiert, um Pilgern den Weg zu weisen. Es handelt sich dabei um zwei Metallschilder, die an Bäumen angebracht worden sind sowie einem Aufkleber an einem Radwegweiser. Außerdem befindet sich eine Schutzhütte direkt an der Kreuzung.

Der Kottenforst ist ein etwa 40 km² großer Wald westlich von Bonn. Er ist durchzogen von gut ausgebauten Rad- und Wanderwegen. Insbesondere Radfahrer nutzen bei gutem Wetter das komfortable Radwegenetz im und um den Kottenforst, aber auch Pilger können auf ihrer Etappe durch den Wald viel entdecken und die Natur genießen.
At the crossroads of two forest trails in the middle of the forest Kottenforst-Ville, several markers were installed to show pilgrims the way. These are two metal signs that have been attached to trees and a sticker on a bicycle signpost. There is also a shelter right at the intersection.

The Kottenforst is a forest with a size of about 40 km² west of Bonn. It is pervaded by well-developed cycling and hiking trails. In particular cyclists use the comfortable cycle path network in and around the Kottenforst in good weather, but also pilgrims can discover much on their way through the forest and enjoy the nature.
